During my time at Joe Smith, I had the opportunity to lead the visual rebrand of Virginia Wine. The project began with Virginia Wine facing an identity crisis, struggling to resonate with both local and national consumers.
Rather than focusing solely on a specific grape, we recognized Virginia's diverse landscape as its strength. Our approach captured the essence of the region, highlighting its unique grit and authenticity through the visual identity. The new brand galvanized wineries across the Commonwealth with a renewed purpose and new tools to tell their stories.
